Touch test

On a touch screen, rub the whole grid area with your finger. Check whether any cell does not respond, and in the multi-finger step see how many touches are recognised at the same time. Use it on a device with a touch screen.

Everything is measured inside this page. The measured values and results are not sent, saved or recorded.

Criteria used

These are the criteria this test applies. The values and the basis come from the same table the test judges with.

Item Criterion Value Basis
Cells with no touch response Cells never touched that call for a check JikCheck initial criterion 1 Internal criterion: if, after the user confirms that every cell was rubbed, any cell was never touched, the result is Check needed. Events may not arrive at the screen edges (system gesture areas), so the web page gives advice about that.

How to use and FAQ

How do I use the touch test?

Press Start and rub the grid area with your finger all the way into the corners. When you are done, press I rubbed every cell; if any cells are hatched, rub them again. After the multi-finger step, choose Show result.

Does it work on a computer without a touch screen?

No. The mouse is not measured in this test, so the grid does not fill in. Open it on a laptop, tablet or phone that has a touch screen.

What does the multi-finger step look at?

It shows, as reference only, the largest number of touches the browser recognised at the same time when you put several fingers down. It is not used for the judgement.

Is the result proof for an exchange or warranty claim?

No. The result is a reference measurement based on signals your browser receives and on what you confirmed yourself. Follow the seller’s or manufacturer’s rules for exchange and repair.
